ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable AI systems for tax and accounting applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Mentor and coach scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team
- Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize system performance and reliability
- Experience in AI/ML Ops, deploying and managing machine learning models, and ensuring efficient AI/ML workflows in production environments for tax and accounting applications
- Knowledge of GenAI/LLM (Generative AI/Large Language Models) and their applications in developing AI-driven solutions for tax and accounting software
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement and innovation in tax and accounting software
- Innovate and develop proofs of concept to demonstrate the applicability of AI/ML for solving customer problems in tax and accounting domains, in collaboration with product and other development teams
- Collaborate effectively across DXG and Wolters Kluwer with product managers, tax professionals, accounting experts, data scientists, and software engineers
- Collaborate with architects to inform emerging product architecture for tax and accounting SaaS offerings
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
Experience :
- 9+ years of experience in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python
- Expert in modern development frameworks such as Python, AngularJS, .Net, C#, React, etc…
- Experience as a full stack developer including front-end and back-end technologies, to build user-friendly and performant web applications for enterprise software
- 5+ years of experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases
- Proficiency in building Data Processing and Machine Learning Pipelines specifically in Azure, utilizing Azure services like Azure Synapse, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, etc.
- Experience with API design and REST principles,
- Proficient in building GenAI applications using LLMs (Large Language Models) RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns, and similar technologies to create innovative and intelligent solutions for enterprise applications
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- Experience in tax and accounting software development is a plus, but not mandatory
- Proven track record of driving innovative solutions for challenges in an enterprise environment
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Ability and willingness to rapidly learn new technologies in the tax and accounting domain
- Strong collaboration skills and desire to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and listening), with ability to build positive working relationships across multiple groups within the organization

Compensation:
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $176,600-$249,950
